About UsThe International Dark-Sky Association – Missouri Chapter, LLC, (“IDA Missouri”) is a subsidiary of the International Dark-Sky Association, Inc. (“IDA”), an Arizona nonprofit corporation whose mission is to protect the night skies for present and future generations. IDA is tax exempt under Section 501c(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. IDA Missouri was officially incorporated in Missouri on October 15, 2018
Our Missouri Chapter is a statewide chapter, dividing the state into operating zones to make sure every area is represented. Board members and volunteers are unpaid. Your donations directly support our chapter's efforts to reduce light pollution in Missouri.

If your mailing address is in the State of Missouri, you will automatically become a member of DarkSky Missouri.
Under our Chapter's operating agreement with our parent, a very small portion of the funds donated to DarkSky International is shared with DarkSky Missouri. Chapters are responsible for raising their own funds for operations.
Important: Donations to DarkSky Missouri will not make you a member of our chapter. If you wish to become a member of DarkSky, please see the prior section for a link to join DarkSky.
DarkSky Missouri must raise funds separate from our parent to support our operations. If you wish to donate specifically to DarkSky Missouri using Paypal or a credit card, please select one of the amounts provided below.
To pay by check, make your check made payable to International Dark-Sky Assoc, Missouri and mail to the address of IDA Missouri, 13024 Barrett Crossing CT, Kirkwood, MO 63122. Your donation will be specific to DarkSky Missouri.
