Missouri SQM Connected Program - Register Your Site

TThank you for your interest in becoming a “Missouri Sky Quality Meter Program” measurement site.

The Missouri Chapter of the International Dark-Sky Association (“IDA Missouri”), in partnership with Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri, operates a program called the “Missouri Sky Quality Meter Program” that collects sky brightness measurements from Sky Quality Meters (“SQMs”) located throughout the state of Missouri.  The SQMs are directed toward a fixed point in the sky to log data for scientific analysis and to develop programs to reduce light pollution.  The program is coordinated by Truman State University in Kirksville, MO.

The Missouri Sky Quality Meter Program welcomes data from privately held SQMs.  If you would like to share your SQM data with our research team, please complete the form provided below.  We ask that you send your data at least monthly to our research team.

We respect your privacy and will not share your contact information with anyone except our project team members unless approved by you or your organization, if applicable.

We would love to hear why you are applying to become a measurement site.

Let us know of any ideas, comments or questions that you want to share.
